About this event
Ruth Ozeki will discuss The Typing Lady, a story collection spanning eras and geographies. Its stories consider childhood ambition, youthful desire, midlife reinvention and the clarity of old age.
In conversation with Margaret Gallagher, Ozeki will explore how people record themselves in language, how language records them in return, and her own career as a writer.
