About this event
The event runs on October 20 from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm at Evergreen Arts and is for ages 50 and up. It begins with a private guided tour of Landon Mackenzie: Weather Patterns. The richly layered canvases draw on riverbeds, tidewaters, and celestial systems, creating painted worlds shaped by chance, control, and the elemental forces of place.
After the tour, participants can relax in the lake-side lobby with tea, coffee, and light refreshments, then spend the morning knitting. Bring a knitting project to work on alongside others, or join the arts specialist to explore simple stitches, textures, and patterns. Supplies and refreshments are provided. Experienced knitters and beginners are welcome. Registration is required, and admission is by donation.
