Book a one-to-one technology help session with a library staff member at Newton Branch. Bring your device and questions; this is not a class.
Get help with computer basics such as using a mouse, internet searching, and Microsoft Word; tablet basics including downloading apps, eBooks, and magazines; getting started with an eReader or laptop; and basic cyber safety for using the internet. Staff cannot diagnose or repair hardware issues.
Sessions run from 10 am to noon on October 4, 6, 11, 13, 18, 20 and 25, 2026, and from 3 to 5 pm on October 7, 14 and 21.
Meet at the Service Desk. Appointments are required; register by phone at 604-598-7406 or in person at the service desk. Free.
