Community Volunteer Fair is a free drop-in open house where visitors can meet Vancouver Cycling Without Age, Food Stash Foundation, Growing Chefs and Vancouver Food Runners.
Visitors can learn about volunteering and enjoy light refreshments.
Food Stash Foundation hosts this October 19 fair from 5 to 7 p.m. at Unit 100, 290 East 1st Avenue. Entry is free and drop-in.
Visit interactive stations to meet staff and learn about volunteering in sustainable food systems, helping children learn to cook, and taking seniors outdoors. Staff can help match opportunities with your schedule and interests. Free parking is available.
