About this event
Impact North Shore hosts this instructor-led group for newcomers to practise English conversation useful in the workplace. Participants join small-group discussions and connect with guest speakers. It is for basic English learners at LINC levels 3–4.
Sessions run Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, October 6–29, from 1:30 to 4 pm, in person and online via Zoom. Seats are limited; only shortlisted eligible clients will be invited. Register through Impact North Shore or contact informallanguage@impactnorthshore.ca for information.
There are 12 sessions. The programme is government-funded and free. All newcomers and immigrants may apply; permanent residents, protected persons and Convention refugees have priority.
