About this event
Family Art Day is an open-studio experience where families explore art together through looking, touching, talking, playing and creating. An instructor leads families through hands-on projects using a variety of media and materials. All materials and supplies are provided.
Space in the room is limited. Arrive early to secure a spot and be prepared to wait for a slot. Same-day, in-person sign-ups begin at 11:15 am in the library’s children’s area. The program is presented in partnership with the Langley Arts Council at City of Langley Library.
The October 17 event window is 11:30 a.m.–1:45 p.m.; each family's hands-on art activity takes about 45 minutes, with same-day sign-up starting at 11:15 a.m. No advance booking is required. Another Family Art Day takes place November 21, 11:30 a.m.–1:45 p.m.
