About this event
This group is for anyone who wants to work on a writing project in the company of other local writers. Sessions begin with a brief chat about current projects, writing processes or challenges, followed by independent silent writing and a short debrief.
It is not a critique group and is not a place to read work aloud. Writers working on memoirs, novels, blogs, essays or other projects are welcome. Sessions take place on the first and third Saturday of each month from 10 am to 12 pm, with silent writing from 10:15 to 11:45 am. Participants may arrive or leave at any point during that window.
Space is limited, and registration is required for each session. Presented in partnership with the North Shore Writers' Association. Location: Second floor teen room. Questions: email info@nvcl.ca or call 604-998-3450.
The October 17 session runs 10 a.m.–noon in the second-floor teen room; register for this session in advance.
