Sensory-friendly Storytime
A sensory-friendly storytime for children of all ages and their caregivers, especially those on the autism/ADHD spectrum or with other sensory processing needs. The program includes stories, songs, playtime and caregiver social time.

About this event
This program is for children of all ages and their caregivers, including those on the autism/ADHD spectrum or with other sensory processing needs. It offers sensory-friendly stories and songs in a welcoming, adaptive sensory environment. Sensory toys, puzzles, colouring pages and headphones will be available.
Each session includes a 30-minute storytime, followed by playtime for children and social time for caregivers. Sessions run from 6:30 to 7:30 pm on October 6, 13, 20 and 27; November 3, 10, 17 and 24; December 1 and 8, 2026, at Ocean Park Branch.
The October 20 session meets in the Meeting Room. Pick up free tickets at the front desk starting at 5 p.m. the same day; space is limited. Enquiries: 604-502-6449.
