The BAG’s third annual haunted house has a House of Nightmares theme. The multi-room walkthrough includes webs, whispers, moving objects, live actors, sound and lighting effects, fog or haze, and sudden scares. Intensity varies by time slot.
This occurrence runs October 20 from 5:30 to 9 pm at Brackendale Art Gallery. Tickets and entry windows are $15 for 5:30 to 7 pm, with eerie ambience and low-intensity scares but no full-scare experience; or $20 for 7:15 to 9 pm for the full-scare experience, including jump scares, darker corridors and intense effects. Arrive 10 to 15 minutes before your entry window to check in.
The event is not recommended for younger children because it includes gore, fake blood and fake body parts. Costumes are encouraged; real or replica weapons are not allowed, and you may be asked to lift your mask for ID or safety. The Zephyr kitchen is open all night with Halloween food and drink specials.
