About this event

Children in kindergarten through Grade 7 can meet other kids, share books, and enjoy crafts and other activities at the library. This is a drop-in programme. Adults accompanying children under 9 must remain in the library for the duration of the programme.

Participants are welcome to move, stim or take breaks as needed. They may sit on the floor or in chairs, or stand at any time. Craft supplies and books will be used, and some accessible crafting materials will be provided. Crafts, snacks and other items may have noticeable scents. Sensory kits with fidget toys and ear defenders are available.

For an accessibility need not addressed here, email childrens.teens@vpl.ca. For information about physical access at Joe Fortes Branch, see the branch’s accessibility information page.
