About this event
Lumen is a three-week bloc team course led by Tom Hill. Participants will create a show using light sources other than stage lights, such as lamps, flashlights and nightlights, and use the dramatic tension of the lighting to build comedy scenes. The course totals 7.5 hours and leads to a team performance at Bloc Fest. Participants must have passed Advanced Scenes 1 or higher and bring a light that can illuminate a person’s face, at minimum, to the first session. The course description also expects participants to have conversational-level Latin.
The series runs on Sundays from November 1 to November 15; this occurrence is Sunday, November 1, 2026, from 12:45 to 3:15 pm. Registration: https://www.eventbrite.ca/e/lumen-a-bloc-team-with-tom-sundays-starting-nov-1-tickets-2003436922767..
