Reading Buddies (English) - Brighouse
An informal English reading program for children in Grades 1–3 to practise reading and pronunciation. Children in Grades 4 and 5 with reading delays or who are ELL may also be considered.

Reading Buddies is an informal English reading program that helps children practise reading and pronunciation while building interest in reading.
The program is designed for children in Grades 1–3. Children in Grades 4 and 5 with reading delays or who are ELL may also be considered.
The October 21 session is 4–4:45 pm at Brighouse. Registration is required through Richmond Public Library.
Children are paired with high-school mentors for weekly reading and group games. All six sessions must be attended. Due to demand, places are allocated by lottery. Submit a form at the Kids’ Place Desk at Brighouse Library by October 9. The official description gives September 20 as the opening date, while its registration instruction gives September 27; confirm this detail with library staff. The session is in the Kids’ Place Programme Room. Library staff may take promotional photos or videos; speak to staff if you prefer not to appear.
