About this event
Learn about your legal rights as an employee in BC and steps you can take to address problems at work. Topics include wages, working hours and overtime rules, workplace leaves and statutory holidays, and reliable resources for workplace issues involving employers.
The workshop is hosted by Azam Shamsi, Employment Services Specialist, CDP, with a Legal Educator from the Justice Education Society of BC as guest speaker. It is presented in English with Farsi support and is open to newcomers and immigrants.
