About this event
Every step in an author’s journey involves choices that shape their experiences, relationships, income, opportunities and connections with readers. Making choices that reflect personal values can make a writing career more satisfying and help reduce stress and anxiety.
In this master class, Crystal (CJ) Hunt will guide participants in identifying their core values in relation to writing, publishing and life in general. They will consider where their choices are or are not aligned, learn tools and strategies for course-correcting, and work with questions they can ask at decision points to help avoid future misalignment.
The session takes place in person at Sheraton Vancouver Guildford Hotel on Thursday, October 22, 2026, from 9:30 am to 12:45 pm Pacific time. Limited to 15 participants. Register: https://registration.siwc.ca
Per-class pricing is $129 CAD (approximately $90 USD) for conference registrants and $249 CAD (approximately $179 USD) for non-registrants. USD figures are approximate references based on the January 16, 2026 exchange rate. All fees are charged in Canadian dollars; the actual USD cost depends on the exchange rate applied by the attendee’s credit card provider.
