About this event
This four-week beginner series teaches participants how to begin researching their Canadian family history. Participants will explore simple tools, take part in hands-on activities, and build the confidence to continue their research independently. No experience is needed.
By the end of the series, participants will have a starter family tree, basic research skills, and experience using library resources. Registration for all four sessions is required, and space is limited. Sessions run from 1 to 3:30 pm on the Second Floor at Cloverdale Branch on Wednesday, October 14, Wednesday, October 21, Wednesday, October 28, and Wednesday, November 4, 2026.
