About this event
The Halloween Pet Parade takes place on Sunday, October 18, 2026, from 2 to 3 pm at Vandula Farms. It is for dogs only and runs rain or shine inside the covered greenhouse. Friends and family are welcome to cheer on the pets and vote for the People’s Choice Awards. Admission for spectators is free.
Contest entry requires advance online registration and completion of the Pet Questionnaire. Submit one questionnaire for each participating pet. Registration does not guarantee a place; a pet’s spot is confirmed only after an approval email from Vandula Farms. The event notice says parade registration is now closed.
Allow enough time to park and check in before the parade begins. Costumes must be comfortable and safe, and must not restrict a pet’s movement, breathing, vision or hearing. Pets must remain leashed and under their owner’s supervision throughout the parade. Bring a leash and waste bags.
More than $500 in prizes and giveaways are available. Award categories are Funniest Costume, Best Owner & Pet Duo Costume, and multiple People’s Choice Awards. The parade is part of the annual Pumpkin Patch Festival. Details: https://vandulafarms.ca/pages/pumpkin-patch-festival,.
