Riley Park Farmers’ Market runs every Saturday next to two playgrounds, a community stage on the lawn and a collectively tended community garden. The surrounding crowd is varied, from grandparents and babies to mobility-scooter users and people doing yoga on the hill behind the market. The pool, library and Main Street are all within easy walking distance.
This location has the most accessible parking of any Vancouver farmers’ market location. Parking is plentiful, though a Vancouver Park Board pay-parking pilot is in effect. On Canadians game days at Nat Bailey, spaces fill quickly, so biking, walking or taking transit is recommended. Bring a refillable water bottle; an on-site fill station is available. Admission is free.
