About this event
The silent writing group is for anyone who would like to work on a writing project in the company of local writers. Sessions begin with a brief conversation about current projects, writing processes or common challenges, followed by independent silent writing and a short debrief.
This is not a critique group or a place to read work aloud. It is intended to help writers build a regular writing practice, whether they are working on a memoir, novel, blog, essay or another project. Writers of all backgrounds are welcome.
Sessions are held on the first and third Saturday of each month from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., with silent writing from 10:15 to 11:45 a.m. Participants may arrive or leave at any point during that window.
Space is limited and registration is required for each session. This event is full. Presented with the North Shore Writers' Association, it takes place in the Second floor teen room.
