Conversation Circles for the Workplace – Basic

About this event
This session takes place on October 15, from 1:30 to 4:00 p.m. Newcomers who want to improve their workplace conversation skills can practise with an instructor, take part in small-group discussions and connect with community guest speakers in a casual, welcoming environment. The course is suitable for learners with basic English skills at LINC levels 3 and 4.
The full programme runs on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from October 6 to 29, 2026, from 1:30 to 4:00 p.m., for 12 sessions. It is presented in English, with in-person and online participation via Zoom. The in-person location is Impact North Shore, 207–123 East 15th Street, North Vancouver, BC V7L 2P7.
This government-funded programme is free and open to newcomers and immigrants. Priority is given to permanent residents, protected persons and Convention refugees.
