About this event
Running every Saturday since 1995, Trout Lake Farmers’ Market is Vancouver’s oldest farmers’ market and a cornerstone of BC’s organic movement. The market winds through the trees of Trout Lake Park, near sports fields, a dog park and a community centre. Admission is free.
Hours are Saturdays from 9 am to 2 pm. Arrive early for the best selection or after 1 pm for a leisurely visit. Parking is notably difficult, so consider biking, walking or transit; Commercial-Broadway SkyTrain is within walking distance. Bring a grocery trolley or wagon, and if it rains, wear a rain jacket rather than using an umbrella.
Trout Lake Community Centre is about five minutes away and has washrooms, water and air conditioning. Three portable toilets are available at the market. The gathering takes place on the unceded traditional territory of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations.
