About this event
In this master class, Steven James introduces an approach to story that looks beyond the familiar beginning, middle and end, or first, second and third acts. Participants will learn a way to understand story structure that is visual and memorable and can be applied to any genre they write.
The class takes place on Thursday, October 22, 2026, from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm Pacific time at the Sheraton Vancouver Guildford Hotel. It is available in person, by livestream and as a recording for 30 days. Per-class pricing is $129 CAD (approximately $90 USD) for conference registrants and $249 CAD (approximately $179 USD) for non-registrants. USD prices are approximate; all conference packages are charged in Canadian dollars, and the actual USD cost varies with the exchange rate charged by the attendee’s credit card provider.
