THE 90s - Abstract Art exhibition

About this event

Contemporary artist Olivier Salvas presents an immersive exhibition about colour, memory, visibility, energy, joy and pride. Inspired by photographs of the 1990s, the abstract paintings draw on the bold colours once found in homes, cars, fashion and everyday objects to explore individuality, self-expression and belonging. The exhibition uses the decade as a metaphor and asks, “Where did the colours go?” against a backdrop of increasingly uniform, beige aesthetics. The works invite viewers to consider colour, freedom, imagination and identity.

Sessions take place on October 31, November 7, November 14 and November 21. The October 31 session runs from 9 am to 3 pm; the other three sessions run from 8 am to 2 pm. The General Admission - All Day ticket tier is free.
