About this event

Andrew Borden and his wife Abby are found dead in Fall River, Massachusetts, in August 1892. Their daughter Lizzie is the main suspect. She is tried and acquitted, though the story goes that she wielded the axe that killed them. Overnight, she becomes an early American icon, described in the source as “mad, bad and dangerous to know.”

Set to bluegrass music and murder ballads, this ensemble show combines gallows humour with vaudevillian horror. It takes place Sunday, October 18, at 7:30 pm at Chilliwack Cultural Centre.
