About this event
The Giant Pumpkin Weigh Off takes place at Greendale Acres on October 17, 2026. Guess the Weight runs from 10 am to 2 pm, followed by the official weigh off at 2 pm. See Giant Atlantic pumpkins lifted, weighed and measured before the Biggest Pumpkin Champion is crowned. The bar is open from noon to 6 pm, and live music runs from 3 to 6 pm.
Enjoy pumpkin picking, photo opportunities and autumn farm activities. Hayrides depend on the weather. General admission is $22 CAD per person. Choose an arrival window of 10 am–noon, noon–2 pm, 2–4 pm, 4–6 pm or 6–9 pm. Your selected window is your arrival time, not the length of your visit. The ticket listing states that visitors under 2 and aged 75+ attend free.
Grower registration and plant pickup closed April 30. The $25 grower entry fee is separate from visitor admission. The competition has one category, Heaviest Pumpkin, and the winner receives a $250 CAD Greendale Acres gift card.
