The seventh annual Folklore Festival brings cultural exhibitions, dance workshops, artist sessions, storytelling and live performance to Surrey, with this occurrence scheduled for Sept. 2, 2026, from 6 to 8 p.m.

Presented by Folk Star Arts Academy Society, Folklore Festival 2026 is a celebration of cultural diversity, heritage, music, dance and visual arts in Surrey. Programming includes a month-long cultural and visual arts exhibition, multicultural dance workshops, artist talks, storytelling, and live performances by professional artists and community performers.
The visual art exhibition and dance workshops are free; no registration is required for the workshops. Meet the Artists sessions are free with RSVP required, while tickets for the main gala performance range from $15 to $25.
This occurrence is scheduled for Sept. 2, 2026, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Guru Angad Dev School. The exhibition runs Sept. 1–27 at Newton Cultural Centre. Additional festival dates include Sept. 3 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Guru Angad Dev School, Sept. 5 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Clayton Community Centre, and Sept. 6 from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Bell Performing Arts Centre.
The festival is intended for all ages.
