About this event
Orff Kodaly Music for Children introduces ages 2–3 to music through songs, games, dance and instruments. This sampler develops basic music skills that may support future music classes. The free eight-session series meets Fridays from September 25 through November 20, 2026, with no class October 23. The October 16 occurrence runs from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at West Vancouver Memorial Library’s Storyhouse.
Children must be accompanied by a caregiver and should be able to attend all eight sessions. The organizer currently marks the series registration full. The program is supported by a bequest from Robert Leslie Welsh’s estate through the West Vancouver Memorial Library Foundation.
The September–November waitlist is open. Register each child; caregivers do not need to register.
Registration opened August 1 at 10 a.m. For information or access requests, contact 604-925-7408 or youth@westvanlibrary.ca; venue accessibility information is linked on the organizer page.
