ACBA Youth Basketball Growth Class 6-12 yrs old

About this event

The ACBA Youth Basketball Program welcomes beginner and developing players. Training covers dribbling, passing, shooting, footwork, defence, movement and game understanding. Through team activities, children practise communication, cooperation, understanding different roles, supporting teammates and working toward a shared goal.

The program also supports coordination, strength, endurance and healthy habits, alongside confidence, resilience, responsibility and leadership. Players practise facing challenges, receiving feedback, solving problems and continuing to improve. First-time ACBA players can try one session for free, with no long-term commitment required for that first try-out. The First timer Free Try-out is free; Advance Team Growth Basketball Training (ages 9 to 12) is CAD 40.00 plus a CAD 4.06 ticket fee.

The series runs from October 30, 2026 to January 22, 2027 at Tomsett Elementary School. The October 30 session is from 5 to 6:30 pm; subsequent sessions run Fridays from 4 to 5:30 pm.
