John Larsen: Drawing Without an Eraser Exhibition – Place des Arts

About this event

Drawing Without an Eraser takes its title from both its materials and its process. Working primarily with ink and Conté, John Larsen makes deliberate marks that require patience, attention to detail and trust from first line to last. The animal-focused drawings look beyond conventional ideas of beauty to capture each subject's individuality, character and quiet dignity.

The exhibition runs September 11 to October 20, 2026, in the Leonore Peyton Salon at Place des Arts, with an online presentation from September 18 to October 20. The opening reception is September 11 from 7 to 9 pm. Viewing times are limited because the salon is a multi-purpose space; call 604.664.1636 before visiting to confirm availability.
