Closing Night Gala - 2026 Italian Design Weeks

The Italian Design Weeks Closing Night Gala takes place at The Westin Bayshore, Vancouver, from 6 to 11 pm on October 30, 2026. The schedule includes a reception and welcome drink from 6 to 7 pm; dinner, the opening of the silent auction and opening remarks at 7 pm; a live auction and remarks at 8:45 pm; and the silent auction closing and prize draw at 9:45 pm. The evening ends at 11 pm. Tickets include the welcome drink and a five-course Italian dinner with premium Italian wines, spritzes and amaro. Guests must be 19 or older.

The menu includes antipasti, ricotta gnocchi, red wine-braised beef short rib (a wild mushroom and truffle risotto vegetarian option is available upon request), and dark chocolate, peperoncino gelato and mandarin sorbet. Wine pairings include 7+ Italian wines. Welcome offerings include Asiago cheese, Arancello and Limoncello spritzes, Italian sodas and mineral water. Food and wine sponsors are Bosa Foods, Consorzio Tutela Formaggio Asiago, Vero Foods, Passione Gelato, Anra Wine Group, Revelry Imports, CoBees Enterprise, Stile Brands and The Woods Spirit Co. The evening also includes a curated swag bag, a live auction and a prize draw.

The live auction features “A Spark of Italy,” a trip for two with a retail value of $14,000. It includes seven nights across four Italian regions, castle stays, wine tastings, a Murano glassmaking experience, an Alpine e-biking adventure and Italian culinary experiences. “Fuel Your Fire,” with a retail value of $2,500, includes a one-night stay at The Westin Bayshore and breakfast for two, paired with a weekend BMW driving experience.

Ticket prices vary by ticket type and membership. The advertised total range is CAD 313.95 to CAD 3579.85.
