About this event
This program is for teens in Grades 7 to 12. Led by North Shore Writers' Association member Erin MacNair, participants take part in writing exercises, friendly discussion, and readings of their work. This year’s focus is on developing ideas into stories, with support for submitting work to teen writing contests.
The October 19 session runs 5–6 p.m. in the third-floor program room; register for the dates you plan to attend. Snacks are provided.
Erin MacNair (she/her) works on the unceded territories of the Squamish, Musqueam, and Tsleil-Waututh people. Her award-winning stories have appeared in Conjunctions, The Baffler, The Walrus, and other publications. Her short story collection, The Museum of Admirable Suffering, is due out in 2028.
Another autumn session takes place November 30, 5–6 p.m.; register separately for the dates you will attend. This is a free programme. More about Erin: https://www.erinmacnair.com.
