Speed Dating Beyond Small Talk | Vancouver Speed Dating | Tantra Speed Date®

About this event

Tantra Speed Date® is a guided dating event for singles, with a series of facilitator-led “Dating Stations” and one-on-one dates. The evening begins with shared agreements, then moves into playful connection exercises inspired by authentic relating, actor’s improv, movement, mindful touch and Tantra. No experience is needed. Each exercise is an invitation: participants can take part fully, modify it or sit it out, while paying attention to and respecting their own and their partner’s comfort. Most people arrive on their own. This is a sober event; anyone who arrives tipsy may be asked to return another time.

The event runs Sunday, November 1, 2026, from 4:30 to 7:30 pm at Baza Dance Studios. Doors close 30 minutes after the start. The experience lasts about 2.5 hours. A facilitator greets attendees and offers a conversation starter, and each participant receives a dating pouch. At the end of each date, the men close their eyes; a woman can place a bead in the pouch beneath her hand if she would like to see her date again. A bead in a pouch counts as a match. Matches are emailed to both people within 24 hours, after which either person may reach out.

Ticket options have different prices: Female and Male Early Bird tickets are each CAD 41.52 plus a CAD 3.48 ticket fee; Female and Male General Admission tickets are each CAD 55.00 plus a CAD 4.30 ticket fee; Female and Male Last Minute tickets are each CAD 93.39 plus a CAD 6.59 ticket fee. Door Sales (cash only) are CAD 175.00 with a CAD 0.00 ticket fee. The organizer promises a ticket to a future event if no connection is made; contact them to arrange it. Advance purchase is encouraged, door tickets are limited, and tickets are non-transferable and available only through Eventbrite. Sign up with the email address you wish to share with matches and include your phone number at checkout for last-minute updates. Contact information is shared only with matches; if a match is made, both people receive each other’s email address under the terms of service.
