Urban Future Walks is a University of British Columbia research-based public experience about urban futures and sustainability. Participation is free, and the research design assigns participants to a group walking tour, a group virtual tour or an individual virtual tour lasting 1.5 to 2 hours.
The group walking and group virtual tours take place in Downtown Vancouver. The individual virtual option can be completed from the participant’s own location. Each format is intended to offer an accessible, engaging way to consider urban futures.
Participants can enter a draw for $100CAD by completing pre-tour and post-tour surveys. Optional focus-group participants receive a $5CAD gift card, and complimentary treats are available. Reserve a spot at urbanfuturewalks.com.
