About this event
The 45th Vancouver International Film Festival runs October 1–11, 2026, with films, talks, live performances and industry events at multiple Vancouver venues. The address of the VIFF Centre box office, 1181 Seymour Street, is not the venue for every screening. Select a film or event on the festival website for its exact theatre, date and time.
Standard single-film tickets are $22 for adults, $20 for seniors 65+, $19 for students or youth, and $17 for accessible tickets, before GST. Some events have a facility fee or different pricing; packs and passes are also available. The festival program and tickets are available through viff.org.
Age requirements depend on the selected film and venue. Most unclassified festival films are restricted to audiences aged 18 and over; selected youth-classified screenings admit under-18 audiences. Licensed venues including the Rio, Park and 5th Ave normally require ages 19 and over, with exceptions at certain classified screenings. Check the specific film and screening requirements.
