About this event
VPL’s Man in the Moon program offers fathers and caregivers who are men or non-binary ways to support early literacy and language development with their children through playing, singing, talking and reading together. It is for babies from newborn to 18 months and their caregivers. Participants must be Vancouver residents. The eight-week program runs every Sunday from September 27 to November 15.
The November 1 session takes place from 10:30 to 11:30 am in a programming room at Terry Salman Branch. The hour includes a short break, with pre-packaged snacks available for parent and child. Movement-based activities can be adapted to different abilities. For an access need not addressed here, email childrens.teens@vpl.ca. For questions or concerns, email adam.smith@vpl.ca.
