Public Disco will bring three outdoor dance events to the Granville Street Pedestrian Zone, transforming the downtown corridor into a temporary dance floor from 4 to 9 p.m. Each date features three stages.
The Aug. 12 program focuses on global sounds, house and vinyl. Aug. 18 adds soul, disco, Latin music, vinyl and salsa lessons, while Sept. 2 features house, street dance and vinyl.
Viva Kids Entertainment Zone will offer activities for children, and No Stress Chess will also be on site. The event is free, outdoors and open to all ages.
