About this event
BAG Offsite presents Michael de Courcy: one in a million across Bob Prittie Library and McGill library sites.
The exhibition marks the 40th anniversary of Expo 86, the 1986 World Exposition on Transportation and Communication, which drew more than 22 million visitors from around the world.
Michael de Courcy attended the event each day to photograph families, friends and individuals moving along the Expo thoroughfares. The resulting one in a million archive contains 1700 images, offering a collective portrait of a diverse public and of Vancouver and the region as they emerged on the world stage.
