About this event
Trout Lake Farmers’ Market has run every Saturday since 1995. It is Vancouver’s oldest farmers’ market and the heart of the organic movement in BC. The market winds through the trees of Trout Lake Park, surrounded by sports fields, a dog park and a community centre, away from car noise. Its visitors include people of varied ages, backgrounds and styles.
This session runs Saturday, October 31, from 9 am to 2 pm. Come early for the best selection or after 1 pm for a wander. Parking is difficult; bike, walk or take transit. Commercial-Broadway SkyTrain station is within walking distance. Bring a grocery trolley or wagon. If it rains, wear a rain jacket and skip the umbrella. Trout Lake Community Centre is five minutes away and has washrooms, water and air conditioning; three portable toilets are available onsite.
The market respectfully acknowledges that the land where it gathers is the Unceded Traditional Territory of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish) and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations.
