About this event
Richmond’s 40th annual Halloween festival takes place at Minoru Park Track with an “Alien Invasion” theme. The programme includes a stage performance by singing and dancing group The Showstoppers, fire performers and acrobats, plus roving performers and stilt walkers. Guests can play carnival games, watch professional pumpkin carvers, and see a giant pumpkin display from KPU. Food trucks will be on site, with food available for purchase. More than 10,000 pieces of candy will be handed out throughout the evening, which concludes with fireworks at 9 pm. Costumes are encouraged, including alien, astronaut and space-inspired outfits.
The event runs Saturday, October 31, 2026, from 6:30 to 9:15 pm. Admission is free, all ages are welcome, and the site is accessible.
