About this event

This 300-hour trauma-informed facilitator training covers conscious connected breathwork through nervous system regulation, person-centred attunement and earth medicine ways. It combines learning facilitation skills with personal practice and growth. The first stage is in person for connection and hands-on techniques, followed by online theory, monthly group consultations during practicum and a 10-week inner process with daily breathwork. The training portion concludes with an in-person public breath circle where students invite people to breathe as they facilitate. Graduates are prepared to facilitate individuals, small groups and virtual sessions.

In-person sessions are generally Saturdays and Sundays, 10 am–6 pm. The personal breathwork stage is October 17–18, 24–25 and 31, and November 1, 2026, across three weekends. Hands-on training is November 28–29 and December 5–6 and 12–13, across three weekends. A hands-on review will take place on a Saturday in January 2027, 9 am–4 pm, with the date to be decided by the group. The final class and group facilitation are scheduled for Saturday, May 15, 2027, 9 am–4 pm. The virtual portion runs from January to May 2027 and includes three virtual learning sessions, six group consultations and a 10-week daily breath practice with weekly check-ins. Dates will be set by the group.

Mentor Christina Niven (RCC, RP, SEP, C-IAYT) has facilitated breathwork since 2016 and brings experience in clinical counselling, Somatic Experiencing and yoga therapy, among other practices. Each cohort is limited to eight students. 2SLGBTQIA+ and BIPOC applicants are welcomed and encouraged to apply.
