About this event
Shaboozey brings the Outlaws Never Die Tour to UBC’s Doug Mitchell Thunderbird Sports Centre on October 17. Doors open at 7 pm; the show starts at 8 pm. Carter Faith is also on the Ticketmaster lineup.
The Grammy-winning, eight-time Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter blends alternative country and hip-hop. Raised in Virginia by parents of Nigerian descent, he grew up with hip-hop, R&B, country and blues, and gained wider attention through Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter. Where I’ve Been, Isn’t Where I’m Going debuted in the Billboard 200 top five. His diamond-certified A Bar Song (Tipsy) broke the record for the longest-leading Hot 100 number one and surpassed two billion streams. He became the first Black male artist to simultaneously lead Billboard’s Hot Country Songs and Hot 100. A TIME100 NEXT honoree and Billboard Country Power Player, he continues to highlight his Virginia roots and modern Americana. His 2024 headline tour sold out in every market; his 2025 tour concluded the following fall, and the organizer describes new music in development for 2026.
