Free online workplace conversation practice for newcomers with LINC level 4 or higher English. Participants must be registered Impact North Shore clients and shortlisted as eligible.

About this event
This session takes place online via Zoom on October 15, 2026, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. An instructor leads small-group discussions where newcomers and immigrants can meet other newcomers and community guest speakers and practise workplace conversation in a casual, welcoming environment. The programme is suitable for learners with intermediate English at LINC level 4 or higher.
The full course runs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from October 5 to 29, from 6 to 8:30 p.m., for 12 sessions. It is presented in English. Zoom participation details are provided after registration.
This government-funded programme is free and open to all newcomers and immigrants. Priority is given to permanent residents, protected persons and Convention refugees. Participants must be registered clients of Impact North Shore. Indicate your interest at https://go.impactnorthshore.ca/ecc-wkpl-intermediate-2026.
