About this event
The 40th Halloween Fireworks Festival has an Alien Invasion theme. Watch acrobats, fire performers and ShowStoppers; enjoy roving performers, stilt walkers and face painting. See professional pumpkin carving, a giant pumpkin grown at Kwantlen Polytechnic University Farm and a crash-landed inflatable spaceship. Play carnival games for candy and full-sized chocolate bars; more than 10,000 pieces of candy will be given away. Wear an alien, astronaut or space-themed costume for the costume contest. Food trucks sell Greek food, teriyaki bowls, burgers, tornado potatoes, churros and warm drinks.
Stage programme: opening 6:35 pm; fire show 6:40–7 pm; ShowStoppers 7:05–7:35 pm; costume contest 7:40–8 pm; fire show 8:05–8:30 pm; acrobats 8:35–8:50 pm; fireworks finale 9 pm.
