Positively Parenting is a four-week interactive workshop series for parents and caregivers of children ages 5 to 12. Hosted in person at South Surrey Recreation and Arts Centre in partnership with the Alex Neighbourhood House, the series explores how connection can support day-to-day parenting.
Topics include keeping in connection at all ages, making sense of behaviours, feelings and the brain, and problem-solving approaches. The series provides practical strategies and resources for learning and thinking about parenting today.
Sessions run from 6 to 7:30 pm on October 6, 13, 20 and 27, 2026. The series is free, and registration is required. Limited childminding spots are available; enquire during registration.
