Wander and Wonder | Nature Bathing by the Capilano River
Take an unhurried guided walk on forest trails near the Capilano River, with sensory observation, gentle breathwork, mindful movement and a guided meditation. Join Marieke for a guided Nature Bathing experience beside the Capilano River. The unhurried outing includes slow walks with pauses, noticing the forest’s colours, textures, scents and sounds, gentle breathwork, grounding and mindful movement, a guided meditation, and time to reflect or enjoy quiet. Nature Bathing is a way of spending mindful time in nature; no swimming is involved. No meditation or Nature Bathing experience is needed. You can come on your own or with a friend. The group is intentionally small, with time for connection and space to breathe.
The session runs Sunday, November 8, 2026, from 10 to 11:30 am. Meet at the picnic benches below the parking lot near the entrance to Capilano River Hatchery in North Vancouver. Free parking is available. Wear comfortable walking shoes with good grip and weather-appropriate layers. Bring water and, if you would like something to sit on, a small mat or towel.
