November Member Appreciation Days 2026

About this event

Member Appreciation Days takes place on November 8 and 9 at VanDusen Botanical Garden & Bloedel Conservatory. An active membership and valid membership card are required to participate. Activities are weather-dependent and may be cancelled without notice.

Complimentary light refreshments are available at VanDusen’s Discovery Room from 10 am to 2 pm, while supplies last. Members may bring a free guest to either or both sites; check in at the admission desks. No pre-booking is required. The general limit is one guest per member per day. Dual memberships (two adults or two seniors) allow one guest per adult or senior, for two guests total. Family memberships allow one guest for each person listed on the membership. Premium members may bring their usual daily guest plus one additional free friend. VanDusen is open from 10 am to 2 pm, with last entry at 1:30 pm; Bloedel is open from 10 am to 4 pm, with last entry strictly at 3:45 pm.

A member’s guest can receive 10% off a new membership or a renewal of a membership inactive for at least six months by purchasing on site at VanDusen or Bloedel on the day of the visit, November 8 or 9. The gift shop sale is for active members only: the VanDusen Botanical Garden Gift Shop is open from 10 am to 5 pm and offers 25% off a selection of gifts, home décor and gardening essentials. Seeds, books and VanDusen Seed Collectors products are excluded. The discount is not available at the Bloedel Conservatory Gift Shop. The gift shop and Garden Cafe remain open until 5 pm, after the Garden closes.
