Spirits of the East: A Halloween Mixology Night

About this event

Spirits of the East is an intimate, guided cocktail night. The drinks draw inspiration from spirits in Asian folklore and use Pacific Northwest ingredients. Guests receive a welcome cocktail on arrival, then the bartender guides them through three Halloween cocktails, each with its own spirit and story. The ticket also includes small plates to share, entry to a costume contest with a prize for the best costume, and access to a Halloween photo corner. Costumes are encouraged but not required. The source describes the event as for 50 guests in one section and says spots are limited to 40 in another.

The event is on Friday, October 30, 2026, from 8:30 to 11:30 pm at SoBu Social, inside Hyatt Place Vancouver Metrotown. It is for ages 19+; bring valid government ID. Tickets are CAD 39.99 plus a CAD 3.93 ticket fee. SoBu Social is a short walk from Central Park and is presented as a place to go after the fireworks.
