Look for fall ducks, migrating flocks and winter residents, and learn how nutrient-rich Stanley Park shorelines attract birds.
Beginners are welcome and binoculars can be borrowed. Advance sliding-scale tickets are required; check the booking page for current prices. Meet at the Nature House on Lost Lagoon 5–10 minutes early. Routes include gravel, pavement and flat dirt with gentle inclines and uneven ground. Advance registration is required; no drop-ins. Walks normally run rain or shine but extreme weather may cause postponement. Refund requests at least seven days before the event incur a 20% administration fee; later requests, lateness and missed attendance are non-refundable. If a postponed date does not work, request a refund less the 20% fee or a transfer. Contact publiced@stanleyparkecology.ca.
