Surrey council candidate Dan B. Carlos prioritizes visible neighbourhood policing
Conservative Party of Surrey candidate Dan B. Carlos lists accessible recreation centres, fully funded policing with a visible neighbourhood presence, and transparency in educational materials among his priorities.

Dan B. Carlos, a Conservative Party of Surrey candidate, is a Filipino-Canadian community leader, mental health worker and licensed driving instructor. He graduated in Pastoral Theology and Community Mental Health.
His three priorities are accessible recreation centres for every Surrey family, fully funded policing with a visible presence in neighbourhoods, and advocacy for full transparency of educational materials.
On policing, Carlos says families should feel safe walking to a park, store or school. Drawing on his experience as a community leader and mental health worker, he says safety is also about peace of mind. If elected to council, he says he will vote to fully fund policing and push for more officers to be visible on streets, in parks and near schools, so residents and small businesses know help is close by.
Carlos says he understands what Surrey families face and will push for practical solutions that deliver real results. Voters can learn more at danbcarlos.ca.
