Burnaby RCMP release sketch in Central Park indecent-act investigation

Burnaby RCMP have released a composite sketch of a suspect believed responsible for an indecent act reported in Central Park on July 9.

Police are investigating three separate reports from July 5, 6 and 9. They did not say whether the man depicted in the newly released sketch is believed to be connected to the other two incidents.

In the July 9 case, a victim told police they saw a man masturbating behind a tree in a picnic area in the park’s northwest section between 8:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. The report was made to police at about 5 p.m. that day.

The suspect is described as a Black man in his late 20s or early 30s, about six feet tall with an average build. Police said he wore a white hoodie, black pants and a black baseball cap.
