Final 2026 Cloverdale Market Days festival set for Sept. 12
The final one-day market will bring about 150 vendors, a car-crushing tank, an aircraft display, children’s activities and local music to downtown Cloverdale.

The fifth and final Cloverdale Market Days of 2026 will take over 176th Street in downtown Cloverdale on Sept. 12, featuring a tank and an aircraft.
The Cloverdale Arts and Entertainment Association hosts one Saturday market in each of May, June, July, August and September. Association president Paige Hardy said the final event is expected to include about 150 vendors and will be family-friendly.
A partnership with the Royal Canadian Legion will make the final market larger than usual. Cloverdale Legion Branch No. 2 will hold an open house and have a tank crushing cars in its parking lot. The Canadian Museum of Flight will display a plane on 57th Avenue, offering visitors a close look at a museum piece.
The market will include artisans, home-based businesses and food trucks, with Chonita foods, Gabi and Jules, and Ca Croustille among the local favourites expected. Vendors will offer handmade crafts, original art, artisanal food and other locally made products.
Korki the clown will make balloon creations, while new Kids Zone face painter Sophia will offer free face painting. Mr. Bubbles, the market’s resident clown, will move through the event on stilts or a unicycle.
Local musicians will busk at locations around downtown Cloverdale. Ranj Singh will return for a final performance, joined by Jana Seale, Darryl Klassen, Patsy and Jon, and first-time Market Days performer Judah Wardrope, who will play during the afternoon.
Dates have already been scheduled for 2027, and the association will distribute postcards designed by Stanja Frenette, artist and owner of Chick N' Doodle Stationery. The card features original artwork created for the event by Chick’N’Doodle.
Hardy said the market’s purpose has always been to support the local community, and that purchases from small businesses, artisans, makers and local food vendors help people who live, work and create locally. The market runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on 176th Street between 56A Avenue and 58th Avenue. It returns in May 2027. First held in 2014, it is one of the largest open-air markets in Surrey and the Lower Mainland. Details and entertainment listings are available at cloverdale-ae.ca and on Instagram.
